How to care for plants

How seaweed fertiliser gives the ultimate care

Caring for plants is a labour of love. Each plant thrives in conditions.

We take a look at the Top five ways to look after and care for your plants.

1. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Liquid seaweed fertiliser is easy to use, mix 2 cap fulls (10ml) of seaweed concentrate with 1 Litre of water (dechlorinated water or rain water is best to use). This is a recommended measurement of use and may need adjusting depending on the response of your plant/succulent. Observe the responses and adjust your measurements as necessary.
This bottle holds 500ml of liquid seaweed fertiliser and makes 50 litres of dilute fertiliser.
The bottle has been designed with a reusable packaging and refill options are available. Please see our stockists page for nearest refilling stations.
Keep this product with the cap on, in a cool, dry place for optimum lifespan. This is a biological product so naturally it will need to be consumed with 24 months.
This product is not suitable for human consumption and should be kept out of the reach of children (the bottle cap may cause a choking hazard, so needs to be kept away from children).
Our product packaging artwork captures one of our favourite spots to relax, unwind and enjoy the coastal environment local to us.
Sales from this product is going towards funding research alongside universities and environmental organisations to discover ways in which we can use seaweed to help the agricultural industry and reduce soil and water pollution in our local communities.

2. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

At Little Green Seaweed we wild harvest all our seaweed by hand along our local coastline. We are very lucky to have over 70 different species of seaweed that grow along our shores. By having such a variety we are able to harvest many different species and produce a fertiliser with a diverse range of species and nutrients.
This is great for plants and succulents. With an increase in biodiversity there is an increase in many factors such as resilience, resistance and growth for your plants and succulents.
It also means that each bottle of liquid fertiliser we sell will have a very slight variation in the quantity and levels of nutrients present. We have included a list of the nutrients below and their levels, however it may slightly vary from bottle to bottle.
